Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games was a celebration of nostalgia and friendly competition, uniting generations of fans through dynamic, emotionally resonant creative. We faced the challenge of appealing to a cross-generational audience while aligning the distinct brand identities of both Nintendo and SEGA. My role focused on shaping the campaign’s tone to balance legacy with a fresh, forward-thinking visual approach. I collaborated closely with designers, animators, copywriters, and developers to ensure a cohesive and engaging experience across all touchpoints. Major wins included developing all-ages-friendly key visuals that captured the energy and spirit of the Olympics while honoring the personalities of both iconic characters. The campaign’s trailers successfully blended gameplay and live-action to deliver fun, high-impact storytelling for fans old and new.
